  • Severe Multiple Potholes, 24th January, SK22 4PH
Quarry Road looks litereally like a small battle-site. The surface is covered in what seems to be more potholes than road-surface. The road also acts as the only access road for Arden Estate & New Mills School Sports Fields. It is dangerous enough navigating this short stretch of road in any vehicle but especially so for any motorcycle or even pedestrians for that matter. There is a considerable percentage of elderly people in this residential area who have to navigate their way through the massive holes. No one seems to want to take any ownership of the road, but this doesn't help the poor residents. It really must be seen to be believed.

  • Pothole B6049 Blackwell Dale, 24th January, millers dale
As you are heading from Millers Dale towards Blackwell there is a pothole on the left hand side of the road next to a drain. It is a patch of tarmac that has filled in a previous hole that has come away leaving a rather deep pothole. It is also just after a bend so is unavoidable unless you already know it's there. ________ This had been "fixed" but all of the gravel/tarmac has now come back out of the hole so it is just as bad as it was when first reported.
